Statement of Faith
Holy Nation Revival Fellowship Church is a Pentecostal, Christ-centered fellowship committed to the authority of Holy Scripture, the proclamation of the Gospel, the work of the Holy Spirit, and the fulfillment of the Great Commission.
1. The Holy Scriptures
We believe the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, authoritative, and trustworthy Word of God. It is our supreme standard for faith, doctrine, Christian living, and ministry.
2. The One True God
We believe in one eternal, living, and sovereign God, who exists eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator and Sustainer of all things and is worthy of all worship, honor, and glory.
3. Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for the sins of humanity, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will return again in glory.
4. The Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third Person of the Trinity, who convicts people of sin, brings new birth, indwells believers, sanctifies God's people, empowers the Church, and equips believers for Christian service and witness.
5. Salvation
We believe that every person is a sinner and is separated from God because of sin. Salvation is by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ and cannot be earned through human works. Through repentance and faith in Christ, a person receives forgiveness of sins, is born again, and becomes a child of God.
6. The Cross and Resurrection
We believe that Jesus Christ gave Himself as the perfect sacrifice for our sins. His death provides forgiveness and reconciliation with God, and His bodily resurrection demonstrates His victory over sin, death, and the grave and gives believers the hope of eternal life.
7. Water Baptism
We believe in water baptism for believers as an act of obedience to Christ and a public declaration of faith. Baptism identifies the believer with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
8. The Baptism in the Holy Spirit
We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit as a distinct empowering experience available to believers, given for spiritual power and effective witness. We believe that speaking with other tongues, as the Spirit enables, is the biblical initial physical evidence of this experience.
9. Spiritual Gifts
We believe the Holy Spirit continues to distribute spiritual gifts to believers according to His will. Gifts such as prophecy, healing, tongues, interpretation of tongues, words of wisdom and knowledge, faith, and other spiritual gifts are given for the edification of the Church and the advancement of God's Kingdom.
10. Divine Healing
We believe that God is the healer and that divine healing is revealed throughout Scripture and made available through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. We believe believers should pray in faith for the sick and trust God for healing while recognizing His sovereign will.
11. The Church
We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, consisting of all who have been born again through faith in Jesus Christ. The local church is called to worship God, preach the Gospel, make disciples, equip believers, care for people, and fulfill the Great Commission.
12. Christian Life and Holiness
We believe every believer is called to live a life of holiness, love, obedience, prayer, worship, integrity, and service. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, Christians are to grow continually in the character of Christ and bear spiritual fruit.
13. The Great Commission
We believe every follower of Jesus Christ is called to participate in the Great Commission by proclaiming the Gospel, making disciples, baptizing believers, teaching God's Word, and taking the message of salvation to every nation.
14. The Second Coming of Christ
We believe in the personal, visible, and glorious return of Jesus Christ. We look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the fulfillment of God's eternal purposes.
15. Eternal Destiny
We believe in the resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous. Those who belong to Christ will inherit eternal life and everlasting fellowship with God, while those who reject God's salvation will face eternal separation from Him.
16. The Mission of Holy Nation Revival Fellowship
We believe God has called Holy Nation Revival Fellowship to be a Spirit-filled, Gospel-centered fellowship committed to prayer, revival, evangelism, discipleship, worship, leadership development, and compassionate service. Our desire is to see individuals transformed by Christ, churches strengthened, communities impacted, and the Gospel proclaimed to the nations.
